myZOO/myBIZ Homepage Personalisation
Get the most out of your myZOO or myBIZ Homepage with Personalisation. Choose the content you want and where to display it. You can even select a colour scheme for the entire homepage or for individual modules.
Personalisation is fun and easy to use - just sign in to save your customised myZOO or myBIZ homepage. Apart from the feature-packed 'Today on myZOO' or 'Today on myBIZ' slideshow, all content modules can be personalised. At the simplest level, this could mean adding, deleting and moving content.
Customise the page
Make myZOO or myBIZ yours by removing default modules or adding extra modules.
Remember to Sign In so you can save all your changes!
- Click the '+Add Content to my PC & Mobile' button in the header to open the 'My Content' panel. All the available content modules are displayed with usually two check boxes under each module type.
- To add a module, such as the 'Sports' module to your PC and mobile phone, click the 'PC' and 'Mobile' check boxes under 'Sports'. If a tick displays, then it will be added.
- To remove a module, un-check the check box by clicking it again and it will remove the module.
- Click 'Done' to close the panel.
Check the Personalisation panel regularly as new content is added regularly.

Editing modules
To add, edit or delete content from a content module on your PC and mobile phone, use the Module Edit link.
- From the homepage, click '+Add Content to my PC & Mobile' button at the top of the page.
The 'My Content' panel will open showing all the available content modules.
Choose the module you want to edit by clicking the 'Edit this Content' link.
OR - From the homepage, choose the module you want to edit and click the 'Edit' link at the top right of the module.
My Content tab
The Module Edit shows the 'My Content' tab, which displays the available content for the module.

Within this area you can:
- Add or remove the module from your PC or Mobile phone homepage.
If you select both check boxes (i.e. PC & Mobile) you will see the module on your PC and mobile homepages.
If you select only the PC check box you will see this module only on your PC homepage.
If you select only the Mobile check box you will see this module only on your mobile homepage. - Select the content providers you want displayed on the module.
For example, in the 'News' module you can choose to receive headlines from a wide source of news providers, or just the headlines from one provider.
Click the check box next to the provider name to add or remove them from your PC or mobile.
- Move categories up or down within a module. Simply click on the up or down arrow next to the category heading.
My Settings tab
From the module 'Edit' view, click on the 'My Settings' tab to select the settings for your module.

Within this area you can:
- Select the number of stories per content provider that you want to see on your PC and mobile phone homepages.
For example, you may want to see 5 story headlines per content provider on your PC but only 2 on your mobile phone. - Select a colour theme for the module.
Once you have completed your changes click 'Save'.
Selecting colours & themes
Homepage Colour ThemeTo change the colour theme of your entire myZOO or myBIZ homepage:
- Click on the '+Add Content to my PC & Mobile' tab near the top of the homepage to open the Personalisation Panel;
- Click on the 'Colours & Themes' tab to display the options available;
- Choose a colour theme by clicking on one of the displayed themes;
- Click 'Done'. The Personalisation panel closes and the homepage displays your new colour theme.

Module Colour Theme
To change the colour theme of an individual module:
- From the module title bar, click 'Edit';
- Click on 'My Settings' tab to display the 'Change my colour theme' section;
- Choose a colour theme by clicking on one of the displayed themes;
- Click 'Save'.The module Edit view closes and the module displays with the new colour theme.

Moving modules
You can move most modules around on your homepage.
To move a module:
- Place the cursor on the module title bar;
- When the cursor changes shape, 'drag' the module anywhere on the homepage by holding down your mouse button;
- Once you have positioned the module where you want, release the mouse button and the module will 'snap' into place.
Remember to first sign in so you can save all your changes.
Updating My Details
From the homepage, click '+Add Content to my PC & Mobile' button at the top of your homepage to open the 'My Details' panel.Within this area you can:
- Update your location postcodes - this is used to set up content specific to your location, such as regional news and TV Guide. You can have a different postcode for your PC and mobile.
- Update your date of birth - this is used to determine your horoscope.
- Update your Sign In details - Display Name. This is the name you want displayed on your myZOO or myBIZ homepage when you sign in.
Mobile View
Make changes to your mobile phone content using the Mobile View window. The Mobile View window gives you an indicative view of how your chosen myZOO or myBIZ content will display on your mobile phone.
This window slides out from the right hand side of your homepage when you click the 'SEE myZOO ON MY MOBILE' tab.
Setting RSS preferences
RSS feeds are content streams from other websites that are updated at regularly defined intervals.
You can add RSS content to your myZOO or myBIZ in two different ways, firstly click 'Edit' at the top right corner of the module, to open the RSS edit window, then:
- If you know the web address or URL of the feed you want, just type it into the Search field provided. As you type, feed options are displayed. To select a feed highlight the feed you want. Make sure you include the full URL including the http://
OR - Type a keyword or phrase in to the Search field provided. As you type, feed options are displayed. To select a feed highlight the feed you want.
