To help get you started, here's an overview of some of the great features and benefits of Optus Internet.

myZOO/myBIZ Homepage

The myZOO/myBIZ Homepage provides a fully featured content experience for all customers. It provides a large selection of useful information such as latest news stories, weather forecasts, movie session times and reviews, horoscopes and even a TV Guide.

Using myZOO or myBIZ on your mobile

You can use myZOO or myBIZ on your mobile with either your compatible Optus or non-Optus mobile phone. You can also personalise your myZOO/myBIZ homepage to see the content you want on your PC and have the same or different content on your mobile phone. For example, you might like to have all your favourite content on your PC and just a few favourites, like sport and weather, on your mobile phone.

There are four ways to edit the content you see on your mobile phone homepage.

  1. From your PC, click the '+Add Content to my PC & Mobile' button on your myZOO/myBIZ homepage;

  2. From your PC, click the 'Edit' link in the top right corner of individual modules;

  3. From your PC, click the 'SEE myZOO ON MY MOBILE' tab;

  4. From your mobile phone, click '+Add Content to myZOO/myBIZ' button.

To register your compatible mobile if you haven't already, go to http://www.optuszoo.com.au/register . Registering enables you to choose the same or different content preferences for your PC and mobile phone.

Email

When you join Optus Dial-up Internet you are assigned one email address, and you have the option of setting up a total of five. It is important to use your primary Optus email account as information such as changes to the service, announcements and newsletters are all sent to your primary Optus email account.

Managing your Internet Usage

The myZOO Homepage provides a specific link in the Header section, which enables you to view, manage and better monitor your account usage.
